I Don’t Even Know

Honestly, I don’t really know why I’m doing this. But, I know, this will make me happy.

Our course, Empowerment Technologies, required us to make a blog. I don’t really have a plan to make a blog. But, it surprised me.

This is what I’ve been looking for. I’ve been looking for something that suits my interests and will help me in my writing ability. This will help me A LOT. I can share my thoughts and ideas. Thanks to our course.

My New Perspective of EmTech

Technology, nowadays, can be accessed by many. Most of us have phones, laptops, and other gadgets. It is not a luxury but a necessity right now. We need these gadgets in order to communicate and in order to fit in.

In Junior High School, we had an Information and Communication Technology subject. This subject taught me the basic parts of the computer, how to make a power point presentation, how to use Adobe Photoshop, and many more. Well, I learned a lot from this subject. But, I didn’t actually master it. It’s a little bit hard for me because at young age, I was just playing outdoor games. I didn’t like phones or laptops at all. But, when I entered Junior High School, I realized that I should start liking technology. I was very nervous during our first ICT meeting. I didn’t really know what to do. But, as time goes by, I let myself explore but I’m still not into it.

EmTech: My New Buddy

It’s been eight weeks since we had the Empowerment Technology course. Yes, I expect to learn a lot from this course but I didn’t expect to love it. As I mentioned earlier, I didn’t like technology at all. It’s  kinda fast, but I think I’ve fallen in love with EmTech. At first, I thought that this would be hard. But, it’s like, while I’m learning, I’m enjoying it at the same time. EmTech opens the door of the world I’m scared of. Why would I be afraid of something that could help me a lot? Well, EmTech will not only help me in my studies, but it will also help me in exploring the new world. Let’s face it, many of us live in the digital world. Many things can happen online.

EmTech helps me in discovering new ideas. Example of it is this one, I now have a blog. And now, I’m interested in making more blogs. Maybe when I get home, I would immediately make a new blog about everything I have in mind. This would help me in expressing my thoughts and ideas.

To sum it all up, EmTech is not that hard as I thought it would be. I’m enjoying this course while learning and gaining a lot of knowledge and experiences. And now, EmTech is my new buddy.
